Adblue emulators for mercedes EURO 5 trucks:
The Adblue system in Mercedes Euro 5 trucks is part of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system used to reduce harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions. This system helps trucks comply with Euro 5 emissions standards. Here’s how it works:
Adblue is a solution made up of 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionised water. It’s stored in a separate tank on the truck. The solution is non-toxic, non-flammable, and safe to handle. As the engine runs, Adblue is injected into the exhaust gases upstream of the SCR catalytic converter. The heat in the exhaust causes the Adblue to decompose into ammonia [NH₃] and carbon dioxide [CO₂]. Once the Adblue decomposes, the ammonia reacts with nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas. This chemical reaction converts the NOx into harmless nitrogen [N₂] and water vapour [H₂O], both of which are naturally occurring in the atmosphere.
The truck’s engine control unit (ECU) manages the Adblue system. Sensors in the exhaust monitor NOx levels, and the ECU adjusts the amount of Adblue injected to maintain optimal emissions reduction. The system requires regular refilling of the Adblue tank, and a warning will appear on the dashboard when the level is low. If the Adblue tank runs empty, the truck’s engine may enter a reduced power mode or, in some cases, not start at all.
Adblue systems in Mercedes EURO 5 trucks are quite unreliable. In Europe, EURO 5 standard in trucks was introduced in 2007 and was replaced with EURO 6 standard in 2013, meaning that most Mercedes EURO 5 trucks are now over 10 years old and so are the adblue systems in them. Export markets such as Australia, Middle East, South America etc.. have different emissions laws and therefor EURO 5 trucks may still be produced and exported to these countries till now.
Due to complexity of the adblue system in Mercedes EURO 5 trucks, we are only able to offer hard wired adblue emulator. Apart from emulating the adblue system and Nix sensor, our emulator also simulates air pressure and adblue pressure sensors. This is very important if you want to not have warning lights on the dashboard. Most other emulators on the market does not do this and that is why you get problems with such emulators. Our emulator offers full SCR and Nix emulation and guarantees there will be no warning light or errors on you dash and you vehicle will not go into limp mode. Our Can Smart adblue emulator for Mercedes EURO 5 trucks is probably the best the money can buy and comes with comprehensive installation instructions, tech support and 2 year warranty as standard. Wiring the emulator in is not the easiest of jobs on MERCEDES Euro 5 trucks and some auto electrician skills will be required for this. You should also allow at least 60-90 minutes to install this.
Mercedes EURO 5 adblue emulators are always in stock. You can find this product link at our shop via link below:

Adblue emulators for mercedes EURO 6 trucks:
The adblue system in Mercedes Euro 6 trucks is an integral part of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology used to reduce harmful nitrogen oxides emissions. The Euro 6 standard is even stricter than Euro 5. Here’s how the Adblue system works in Mercedes Euro 6 trucks:
Adblue is a liquid made of 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. It is stored in a separate/dedicated tank on the truck. It is a non-toxic, non-flammable solution used in the SCR system to convert harmful NOx emissions into harmless nitrogen and water vapour. The truck’s exhaust system is equipped with sensors that monitor the NOx levels in the exhaust gases. Based on the detected NOx levels, the truck’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) injects a precise amount of adblue into the exhaust stream. The adblue is injected as a fine mist, ensuring it mixes properly with the hot exhaust gases. When the adblue is injected, it is exposed to the high temperatures of the exhaust gases. Under these conditions, adblue breaks down into ammonia and carbon dioxide in a process called thermolysis.
